A simultaneous fill and gross weighing machine, the FKA-6 valve bag filler is versatile, economical and easy to operate in a proven, dependable design.

This bagger is gravity fed from your product supply bin or blender. Product entering the bagger passes through the agitator section and into the auger which conveys the product into the bag, drum or pail. When the product reaches the preset weight, the bagger will automatically stop the flow of product.

Motor & Controls

The FK-6 uses a heavy-duty 3 HP TEFC drive motor (5 HP Optional). The motor controls are mounted in a NEMA 12 enclosure at the rear of the bagger. The controls include a transformer for 120v/1ph power to the operator controls. All wiring and components are NEMA 12 rated.

Scale & Weighing Mechanism

The weighing portion of the bagger, which includes the fill spout and bag support, is supported by flexure plates. The standard mechanical scale is a rugged, single-beam design using two inverted pivots. The bag weight can be adjusted by turning the counterweight support screw located at the front of the bagger. A sliding counterweight type fine weight adjustment is within easy reach of the operator.
